  This UMRAN special issue presents scholarly articles on the Nusantara, addressing themes of religion, culture, psychology, and tradition. The contributions explore Islamic and socio-cultural discourses in Indonesia and among diasporic Muslim communities. The discussions focus on two main areas: Islamic thought—including syariah, Qur’anic exegesis (tafsir), history, and religious education—and social life and education.
