Leadership and Editorial Legacy
UMRAN’s editorial development has been shaped by strong academic leadership since its establishment. The journal’s first Editor-in-Chief was Professor Dr. Kamaruzaman bin Yusof, who at the time served as the Dean of the Faculty of Islamic Civilization, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia. His leadership laid the foundation for the journal’s scholarly vision, editorial governance, and academic integrity.
The editorial leadership was subsequently succeeded by Associate Professor Dr. Mohd Fauzi Abu Hussin, who further strengthened the journal’s editorial standards, interdisciplinary scope, and strategic development.
