Income generation opportunities for poor women are an important indicator of increased gender equality and empowerment. A woman’s ability to earn an income translates into improved nutrition and medical care for her family and more gender-equitable educational opportunities for her children. In addition, a woman’s earning power leads to higher self-confidence, which in turn motivates her to proactively improve her life through self-governance. This paper explores the impact of entrepreneurial support on business performance and also the role of religion as a moderating variable. In this study, the researchers used a deductive approach using cross-sectional data collected through female entrepreneurs completing a questionnaire. The study consisted of 380 usable samples. The data were analyzed using Covariance-Based Structural Equation Modeling (CB-SEM) to test the theoretical research model. The empirical results, supported by CB-SEM, revealed that (1) entrepreneurial support positively and significantly influences business performance, and (2) religion acts as a moderating factor on the relationship between entrepreneurial support and business performance. Policy efforts should focus on capacity-building programs that strengthen and enhance business and spiritual skills, and provide training in digital competencies and faith-based networking platforms. Such initiatives can bridge the gender gap and encourage women’s active participation in the economy, foster sustainable business success, and psychological empowerment and well-being.
